Clark Germain


Grammy award winning and Emmy-nominated recording producer/engineer  Clark Germain is credited with hundreds of professional albums to date.  He has worked with such diverse artists as U2, Herbie Hancock, Poncho Sanchez, Counting Crows and Bonnie Raitt.  His most recent collaborations include award-winning albums with Sting, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, The Fray and David Benoit

  Receiving a Grammy in 2004 for his work on Wayne Shorter’s  “Alegria” record as well as receiving an Emmy nomination for Music Mixing at the 63rd Academy Awards and a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album at the 43rd Grammy Awards exemplifies his quality of work and professionalism.  Other artists he has worked with include U2, Simply Red, XTC, Julio Iglesias and Lionel Richie.  Since leaving Oceanway in 1985 he has traveled from his LA base to New York, Cuba, Spain and France recording and mixing for artists such as Brian Wilson, Days of the New, Fishbone, Susanna Hoffs and Eliades Ochoa.

In the world of film, his feature film scoring credits include mixing for composers Babyface, Alan Mencken/Howard Ashman, Marcus Miller, Wendy and Lisa, Michelle Columbier, Bill Conti, Nicholas Pike, Ry Cooder and T-Bone Burnett.
